On 26-27 September the INTERPLAN consortium met in Kassel (DE) for a lively and productive discussion about the current project status and upcoming challenges.

The project consortium discussed and made a conclusion on the final requirements and use cases for the project operation planning tool. This information will soon be made public in two upcoming reports. In addition, an exchange of information on the project show cases definition and initial activities on grid clustering methodology was made.

One key topic the consortium addressed is INTERPLAN’s workshop at the upcoming European Utility Week exhibition in Vienna.  The workshop will take place on 7 November from 09:00 to 11:00 and aims to capture vital feedback from TSOs, DSOs and other experts, who are interested in the INTERPLAN project.

The workshop will introduce the INTERPLAN project and its current status. Guest speakers will talk about practical challenges that TSOs and DSOs face as well as  their specific requirements towards an operation planning tool for electrical power system operators.
