During the day-long event, the consortium partners and work package leaders gave presentations on the work and accomplishments of their work package, and were provided valuable and insightful comments on the progress of the project and potential ways to improve it to maximise its impact.
The team presented further developments of the INTERPLAN operation planning tool, a tool for grid equivalents with the aim to control the operating conditions at all network levels, and apply adequate possible intervention measures through cluster and interface controllers, as well as the base showcases and use cases simulation.
The INTERPLAN team emphasised the innovative approach of actively involving the project stakeholders in all aspects of the project to get valuable feedback and ensure the adoption and actual use of the tool being developed.
According to all participants in this first mid-term review meeting, this was a fruitful opportunity for all members to discuss and review the contents and status of the project.
The Project Officer provided the INTERPLAN team with thoughtful comments and enthusiastic feedback, and the meeting was concluded on a highly positive note and with encouragement to continue the work.
