Joint booth with ERIGrid and DERlab at European Utility Week 2018
INTERPLAN shares a history of collaboration with ERIGrid and DERlab members.
ERIGrid is a project involving Europe’s 18 top research institutions that pool together their know-how to improve research infrastructures within the smart grid sector. In the first half of 2018 INTERPLAN and ERIGrid exchanged information on the definition of a use case, with ERIGrid later performing an analysis of the developed use cases for potential use in INTERPLAN.
DERlab is an association of leading laboratories and research institutes in the field of distributed energy resources equipment and systems, developing joint requirements and quality criteria for the connection and operation of distributed energy resources (DER) and supporting consistent development of DER technologies.
With the support of DERlab members, INTERPLAN is carrying out an assessment of limitations and best practices for interconnection of the emerging technologies within the EU countries. This work will be considered in the upcoming INTERPLAN report “Grid code and regulation limitations” (D2.2), which will be publicised in autumn 2018.
Along with the presence at the exhibition floor, INTERPLAN will hold a workshop “Innovative Network Operation Planning Tool for TSOs and DSOs” on 7 November at the European Utility Week. Find out more about the workshop and register for free here.
